Study Workload: Estimated 7.5 hours per week over a 12 month period.
Entry Requirements: No prior qualifications are necessary, however a minimum of Year 10 numeracy and literacy is required to demonstrate competencies.

Employability Skills: Employability Skills for each qualification have been determined by the Department of Education, Employment and Workforce Relations (DEEWR). These are the recommended skills identified to gain employment, establish an enterprise, for career progression, to expand employment capability and to achieve individual potential and contribute to organisational strategic outcomes. Training Packages have been reviewed to ensure that Employability Skills feature in their units of competency.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

Given that some participants may already be able to demonstrate their competence in some units, a recognition of prior learning assessment process is available to acknowledge skills and knowledge that may have been gained through formal and informal training and/or learning, work experience and life experience.
