Advanced Diploma of Project Management
The Advanced Diploma is for those who:
- supervise others who develop project management plans
- delegate responsibility for the achievement of project objectives to others
- receive reports from several project managers
- monitor and review a number of projects against business or corporate objectives.
The Advanced Diploma builds on the fundamentals of project management operations by developing the tactical and strategic skills required for resource rationalisation and value improvements across the program.
The emphasis is strongly on contemporary management practices, enabling you to operate effectively from the strategic level through to the operational and tactical levels.

| Study Workload: | 300 hours plus time spent preparing and detailing assessment tasks. You can complete your Advanced Diploma within a 25 week period at 10-12 hours per week. |
| Entry Requirements: | Participants need to be currently working in a senior project environment - or be able to access a work-based project involving a range of projects at the program manager level. |

SKILLS OUTCOME
On completion, students will have achieved the knowledge and skills to plan and manage the critical elements of projects and to:
- Write effective project plans to meet the delivery requirements of corporate/business expectations
- Use mechanisms linked with the plan for the day-to-day control of projects to meet objectives
- Provide quality deliverables, with the ability to meet reporting requirements on demand
- Select appropriate tools to support monitoring and control mechanisms
- Assign agreed responsibilities to get the best out of core and broader team capabilities.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
Given that some participants may already be able to demonstrate their competence in some units, a recognition of prior learning assessment process is available to acknowledge skills and knowledge that may have been gained through formal and informal training and/or learning, work experience and life experience.
