Advanced Diploma Training Pathways



  • The workplace evidence submitted as part of the Advanced Diploma may be used to satisfy the candidate assessment component for recognition as a Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) with the Australian Institute of Project Management AIPM. Therefore, if you successfully complete your Advanced Diploma of Project Management, and have met the minimum experience /application requirements of the AIPM, you may use your completed assessment as evidence for your AIPM assessor for your request to be recognised as a CPPD.
  • The Advanced Diploma is eligible for AIPM Continuing Professional Development points.
  • The University of Sydney’s Project Management Programme also offers advanced standing for two units of study.
  • Other tertiary institutions have also recognised and awarded credit for the Advanced Diploma upon application Eg. Graduate Certificate in Project Management, Graduate Diploma of Project Management, Graduate Diploma of Business Studies, Masters in Project Management, MBA.
  • Further, the underpinning knowledge gained as a result of successfully completing this course also aligns with the basic knowledge requirements of the Project Management Institute's PMP (Project Management Professional) recognition. The Advanced Diploma is also is eligible for Category A Professional Development Units.
